Nature Club

A Nature Club is a non-political, self-sponsored, and voluntary student club for the collection and circulation of facts and knowledge about nature and natural resources. It aims to develop students as nature lovers and conservationists. The Nature Club believes that nature teaches life’s lessons in its own subtle ways and enables our students to share their responsibilities in maintaining a healthy environment and taking steps to avoid environmental degradation, both individually and as a group.

Objective:

  • Aims to propagate the spirit of loving and protecting nature.
  • Helps students experience the wonder and wilderness of nature.
  • Creates awareness about environmental issues and conservation.
  • Initiates conservation action and education activities.
  • Promotes environment-friendly lifestyles.

Duties:

  • Plan and organize club activities.
  • Set up a vermicompost pit.
  • Undertake projects for the National Children's Science Congress on nature conservation.
